The first annual Steamboat Stomp kicks off Friday, October 11th. Jump aboard the steamboat for nearly 5 hours of incredible traditional jazz. Bands include Duke Heitger & the Steamboat Stompers, Dukes of Dixieland, Banu Gibson, the Yerba Buena Stompers, with Butch Thompson in the intimate Magnolia Suite. All these bands for one price AND a two hour cruise (7-9pm) on the last authentic steamboat on the Mississippi River! Hungry – thirsty? Our staff has prepared optional food choices you can purchase and enjoy indoors and on the outside decks under stars. Visit our masterful “mixologists” at one of the bars and make this a musical night to remember! Friday Night Cruise and Concert tickets are just $50.
The Stomp continues through the weekend with performances on the regularly scheduled daytime cruises and on site at the Bourbon Orleans Hotel. Each performance venue can be purchased separately. Sunday concludes with a Jazz/Gospel Brunch on the Steamboat – Reservations required.
