Steamboat Stomp Jazz Cruise – 2015
Jazz is arguably America’s proudest original art form. And music scholars and laypersons alike recognize New Orleans as its birthplace. Yet few people know the critical role that Mississippi River steamboats played in spreading jazz throughout the country and popularizing artists like Louis Armstrong and Fate Marable.

In celebration of the city’s jazz heritage, the New Orleans Steamboat Company is thrilled to announce its third annual Steamboat Stomp festival, taking place September 18 – 20, 2015. The three-day program will feature some of the world’s finest musicians performing New Orleans-style jazz on one of the last authentic steamboats still operating in the United States.

With its focus on traditional jazz and its unique venue, Steamboat Stomp offers a truly special experience whether you’re an aficionado or newcomer to the world of jazz. Details on ticket packages, performers and more will be available in Spring 2015.

Christmas Eve Celebration – 2015
Join us for our Christmas Eve Celebration on the Mississippi River aboard the Steamboat NATCHEZ. Check back for details and reservations.

(Viewing of the “Bonfires” can only be done by motorcoach as riverboats in New Orleans have discontinued that excursion. Please look at the Bonfire Adventure Tour at www.GrayLineNewOrleans.com).
