Chef LaBella Recognized

Joey LaBella, Executive Chef, Steamboat NATCHEZ
LaBella was hired as sous chef at the Steamboat NATCHEZ in early 2012 and promoted to executive chef in October 2012. He is responsible for the culinary direction and menu oversight for lunch and dinner cruises, in addition to the development and execution for special events. On an average the Steamboat NATCHEZ serves more than 750 guests daily.
He began his culinary training as a child under the direction of his father Joe, with LaBella's Catering. During his time in the family business, Joey coordinated food service for several Carnival (Mardi Gras) Balls, large conferences and corporate events. Before the steamboat he trained under Peter Vasquez with the Hilton Group.
